Over the five days, we’ll immerse ourselves in Shanghai’s unique cultural code, strolling along the eclectic Bund, exploring ancient Chinese gardens and futuristic districts. Together with art historian and curator Denis Maksimov, we’ll dive into the city’s contemporary art scene, and with researcher Alexandra Drozdova, we’ll trace the steps of Alexander Vertinsky and Larisa Andersen, who once found inspiration here.
The highlight of the trip will be two musicAeterna concerts featuring Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, Strauss’s Four Last Songs, and Wagner’s Ring Cycle. After each performance, Teodor Currentzis and members of the orchestra will meet the guests for a private cocktail reception and discussion.
